Rickie Fowler, the newcomer of US PGA Championship, knew his own present position. He knew that he wasn't an inevitable choice. But from the other hand, he also knew that victory of Deutsche Bank Championship may change his situation. And he may even get the Best Young Player Award this year.

Corey Pavin, an American captain of Ryder Cup, plans to go to Boston TPC this week. He need to see the performances of wild cards' nominees. Rickie Fowler knew he had no  guarantee, but he was also one of the candidates.

Corey Pavin will announce winners of wild cards. Rickie Fowler understood that Deutsche Bank Championship is his last chance to show himself. He is 20th in the scoreboard of Ryder Cup. In addition, the top eight had got their cards. "It will be great to be one of obtainors of four wild cards." Rickie Fowler said, "But I hope it isn't the last opportunity for me to participate in Ryder Cup."

Anyhow, this year is the only chance for Rickie Fowler to win Annual Best Young Player Award. However, it seemed McIlroy got closer to this prize for he won Quail Hollow Championship.

Rickie Fowler just tightly followed McIlroy, because he got two runner-up. And he said he will give A or A- to this season if he was asked to do it.

"This year, I wasn't very worried." Rickie Fowler said when to talk about the competition for Annual Best Young Player Award. "Obviously, I looked forward to getting this prize. But as what I said, my main target is located present-playing well this week's game, striving for eligibility of Tour, performing FedEx Cup well and getting the pleasure from them."

Obviously, if Rickie Fowler can get the title of Deutsche Bank Championship, he can fight with McIlroy at least when to compete for Annual Best Young Player Award. After all, the lineup is not worse than that of Quail Hollow Championship.
